Financial Foresight – with a Financial Management Programme at CBS!
A Financial Management programme at CBS provides you with in‐depth knowledge of managing financial processes within companies. In operational financial management, the focus is on ensuring liquidity at all times, whereas strategic financial management involves making long-term decisions to enhance profitability. Investments are carefully evaluated, and potential risks weighed to guarantee sustainable value growth for the company.
However, the interface between these two areas can lead to conflicts – for example, an investment aimed at boosting revenue may temporarily strain liquidity. Professional financial management therefore requires the ability to balance short-term financial needs with long-term corporate objectives.
Additionally, the comprehensive scope of financial management includes organising cash flow, financing through both equity and debt, and the continuous review of profitability – essential skills that our students acquire through practical learning.
