LEARNING WITHOUT BORDERS – INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCES AT CBS
Discover how students from around the world describe their time at CBS.
What I value most about CBS is the truly international nature of the Master’s programme. In my cohort, there were 17 students – only three of them from Germany, with the rest coming from all over the world (including Albania, the USA, India, Italy, Norway, China, and Mauritius). To me, this is a major strength of CBS and, in this form, truly unique in Germany: “international” is not just a label here, but a lived reality. In the end, the experience convinced me so much that I remain part of CBS not only as an alumnus, but also as a lecturer.
Studying International Business at CBS challenged me to think beyond my comfort zone and see business from a truly global perspective. Professors were supportive and excellent in their field, which allowed me to learn from the best. The exchange semester was also my highlight, as it not only deepened my academic knowledge but also strengthened my independence, and intercultural communication skills as well as allowed me to broaden my perspective in an international setting.
Moving to Germany from India was a big leap, but the supportive community and student department at CBS made settling into my new life feel completely seamless. The hands-on, practical focus of the curriculum gave me the exact tools and confidence I needed to land a great working student job right away. Beyond the professional edge, being here has truly pushed me to grow as an individual and see the business world through a much broader lens.
Studying Global Finance at CBS International Business School has been a meaningful learning experience for me. The programme has challenged me academically and encouraged me to reflect on my strengths while developing a solid foundation in finance. I appreciate the practical approach and the diverse perspectives shared in class.
My time at CBS has opened me up to global opportunities. Coming from abroad, I appreciate the open and diverse culture. Learning is dynamic and keeps pace with an evolving technological context. It’s been a fun and rewarding experience.
