The admission requirement for a bachelor’s programme at CBS is a secondary school completion and university qualification or full entrance qualification to an applied sciences university.
To find out if you are eligible for a bachelor‘s programme at CBS just apply using our online application form and submit these documents, translated in English or German: CV, copy of last school certificate, letter of motivation, copy of your passport, proof of English proficiency.
If you are not eligible for direct entry into an undergraduate program, we offer our one-year Prep4University program.
The admission requirement for a master’s degree at CBS is a first academic qualification with a minimum of 180 ECTS-Credits of a recognised university with a final grade of at least “good”. Applicants who have not attained this grade in their first study course must take a separate entrance examination. The degree should be business-related.

The admission requirements for an MBA programme at CBS are a first academic qualification (Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts) with a minimum of 180 ECTS-Credits of a recognized university with a final grade of at least „good“. Applicants who have not attained this grade in their first study course must take a separate entrance examination. The first academic qualification doesn’t have to be business-related. Furthermore, you need initial job experience of at least one year.

Please consider: We currently receive many requests for full scholarships. If you have information that we are offering full scholarships, you unfortunately have been misinformed! We do not offer full scholarships. If you are interested in full scholarships, please check out the website of www.DAAD.de or check if your country is offering any full scholarships.
We are happy to give all highly motivated non-EU applicants the opportunity to receive a one-time 3,000 Euro scholarship for our 2- and 3-year programmes (1,500 Euro scholarship for the MBA Fast Track in 1 year) of the total non-EU tuition fees, if they fulfill these requirements. Please note that a separate application for the scholarship is not required, the eligibility will automatically checked during the application process, provide that all required documents have been submitted. Additionally, special country promotions are available. Moreover, you can check for scholarships from the DAAD.
Deposit: If you require a visa for studying in Germany you will be required to pay an advance deposit of first semester tuition fees.
Visum & blocked account: Once you have paid your deposit, we will send you your Letter of admission, with which you will be able to apply for your visa.
Also, for your visa application you will need a blocked account as a proof that you will be able to pay for your living expenses once you arrive to Germany. Please note that it can take up to four months to process the application for your visa! The CBS International office will guide you during the whole visa application process.

in person, with advice and support. CBS has arranged contingents for CBS students at Campus Cologne with numerous halls of residence and connects fellow students who offer or seek accommodation! We introduce you to interesting options.
Please notice: Due to limited capacities and the increasing demand for accommodation, we kindly advise you to apply for a place in our dormitories at the latest 2 months before the semester starts. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee you a direct move during the first semester days.
