On June 12th and 13th 2019, the 6th Conference on Corporate Social Responsibility, Ethics, Governance and Sustainability took place as part of the 4th International Conference on Organization and Management (ICOM). Prof. Sherin Farouk and Prof. Waqar Ahmed from the College of Business at Abu Dhabi University hosted the event and invited representatives of the GCGI to the impressive premises of the Intercontinental Abu Dhabi. The first keynote speech held by Prof. Maurizio Zollo, introduced the audience to the fundamental psychological context of sustainable action. Prof. Lisa Fröhlich represented Cologne Business School giving a keynote on “Sustainable Supply Chains as a driver for Successful Companies”. CASM Director Prof. René Schmidpeter was member of the International Scientific Committee of the conference. During the conference workshops and the breaks, lively discussions arose on the subject of sustainable management, stimulated by the very international audience and the breadth of the topics presented.
