CBS was founded in 1993 as the Cologne Business School at our headquarters in Cologne. A lot has happened since then! Today's corporate mission Creating tomorrow runs through the entire history of the university: New developments, such as the integration of the American Bachelor`s model in Germany or international accreditation, were recognised early on and successfully implemented. In 2020, we introduced the joint brand CBS International Business School for all our locations throughout Germany. Starting 2022, we will also be offering the dual and part-time management programs of the European University of Applied Sciences (EU|FH) under this brand. We are part of the Stuttgart-based Klett publishing house and are one of the education market leaders in Germany.
The CBS International Business School Advisory Board’s tasks consist of advising and supporting the university in the course of its internationalisation and further strategic planning. In particular, the members of the Advisory Board support CBS in its efforts to cooperate closely with the economy and scientific institutions worldwide. Here, the members of the Advisory Board help acquiring further immaterial sponsors, advise the presidium when selecting and allocating Chairs and support in obtaining special speaker for extracurricular studies.
