Spending a semester abroad has many advantages: you experience new cultures, strengthen your foreign language skills, gain a career advantage, make new friends, achieve greater independence and gather valuable memories. All CBS bachelor's and master's programmes offer the possibility to spend a semester abroad at one of more than 120 international partner universities. For all English-language bachelor programmes, a semester abroad is mandatory. However, the German-language bachelor programmes “Beriebswirtschaft & Management” and “Wirtschaftspsychologie” as well as all master programmes also provide students the opportunity to spend one semester at a partner university. Find out more about our students’ study abroad experiences here or at #cbswanderlust on Instagram.
„I did not only improve my foreign language skills during my semester in Japan, I also gained first hand intercultural experiences, made new friends from all over the world and, what’s most important, collected unforgettable memories.“
„During my semester at Bond University in Australia I gained more experiences than I can count.“
Los Angeles, Tokyo, Istanbul, Lima, Madrid, or Seoul? With such a great variety of partner universities, it is difficult to choose one’s favorite. However, if you want to study abroad the CBS International Office supports you throughout the whole planning process. We help you to find the right partner university, to arrange your class schedule, and support you in preparing everything for your semester abroad.
A semester abroad not only means studying in another country, but it also means an incomparable intercultural experience. You immerse yourself in a culture that you might have thought you already knew, for example, because you have already been on vacation in that country or because it is a neighboring country and can't be that different from ours.
