CBS accommodations and alternative housing options!

All the information you need for living in Cologne: CBS accommodation, student apartments and residences!

Studying and living in Cologne can be a great experience. As a cultural hub in the west of Germany, Cologne is famous for its spectacular cathedral, for the well-known Cologne Carnival, and for the various museums and prestigious universities.

All these aspects have made the city a popular place to live, which can make the search for adequate accommodation challenging. In order to simplify the search, we have created our own few selections of housing. These limited CBS Accommodations are reserved for international Students that are starting their journey at CBS or come here for one Semester; locals will unfortunately not be able to live at the CBS student residences.

Since we are working with a limited contingent the spots will be granted through a lottery system to ensure a fair and equitable distribution. There are a few requirements to take part in this procedure:

1. You have to be a new full degree student, Prep4 Uni student or an exchange student

2. Exchange students can only apply for the CBS Student Residence

3. The other options are only available for international full degree students and Prep4 Uni students

4. You have to apply through the form below from November 1st to November 30; Later applications won’t be considered for the lottery.

Important: We cannot consider students that are already living in Cologne or other parts of Germany and already are in midst of their studies.

CBS Student Residence: University residences for our international exchange students!

CBS International Business School operates an own student residence with fully equipped double and single rooms close to the popular “Südstadt” neighborhood of Cologne, surrounded by an abundance of cool shops, cafés, and bars. The house offers you ideal accommodation while you are an exchange student at CBS.

The 1 and 2-bed rooms are bright, friendly, and well equipped. Each room is furnished with a bed, closet, desk, storage rack, lamps, beddings, and private safes.

A large and spacious common kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerators, a freezer, stove, oven, and microwaves. Plenty of bathrooms on each floor are available to all residents. Furthermore, students share a comfortable living room with dining facilities, couches and a TV as well as a big garden.

It is an extraordinary experience to live under one roof with other visiting students of the CBS from around the world, who, just like you, are only in Cologne for a short time.

You will appreciate the inspiring, international atmosphere - and can cook, learn, and explore the city together.

SMARTments Köln

The apartments always feature their own bathroom and kitchen and are tastefully furnished so you don’t need a moving van or the hassle of buying furniture when moving into your new home. The location in the city centre between CBS, high street shopping, old town and the nightlife is phenomenal. From there you can – if you like – do everything by foot.

The apartments are just 15 minutes walking distance from the CBS campus! On site, a dormitory tutor helps you to settle and with all your questions regarding the residence and its surroundings.

We 18: Your new home, where you will not miss anything!

At We18 we offer fully furnished single apartments, most of them are equipped with a balcony and luxury amenities (TV, kitchen appliances and accessories, ready to move in only with a suitcase). The dormitory is located in Cologne Deutz, in the middle of the multicultural center of the "Schälsick", with numerous restaurants, bars and shopping facilities nearby.

Due to the good location near the S-Bahn stop "Trimbornstraße" you not only have an excellent connection to the public transportation towards the city center and the CBS campus, but also to other cities around Cologne.
