A double degree bachelor offers qualified students the opportunity to obtain two bachelor's degrees at both CBS and Fontys School of Management at the same time.
How about taking up a Bachelor study programme that will grant you two degrees?
If you wish to pursue an international career, our English-taught International Business Program is an excellent choice. But you can go even further: Decide for the Double Degree Program with a focus on Management Consulting, which is offered in cooperation with the Fontys School of Management, Economics and Law in Eindhoven, Netherlands. You will spend your 5th semester in Eindhoven (Study language: English). During your 6th semester, you will write your Bachelor's theses for CBS and for Fontys university as part of a full-time internship that you do with a company either in the Netherlands or in Germany.
Once you have successfully completed your two final theses, you will be granted two Bachelor's degrees, the BA Bachelor of Arts in International Business (CBS) and the BBA Bachelor of Business Administration (Fontys).
Two degrees will not only give your CV an impressive twist – but you will also gain a lot of knowledge and experience. During your studies as well as during your internship you will gain deep insight into different consulting projects and be able to actively work on them. Perfect preparation, maybe for a future position in a big international enterprise?
You won´t have to decide on the Double Degree right from the beginning of your studies.
The application for the programme is due in semester 3 of your BA in International Business. Please note that this programme is exclusively offered to students of International Business with a focus on Management Consulting.
CBS opens 5 study places per year for this Double Degree. A committee selects candidates on the basis of their academic performance and motivation.
Regular costs for the one-year programme are 2006€ (academic year 2017/18). The three strongest candidates receive an Erasmus+ scholarship, which includes a tuition fee waiver as well as a monthly scholarship that will cover parts of your living expenses.
Fontys comprises a large network of universities of applied sciences in the Netherlands that offers a large variety of study programme. Business studies are one of their focus areas. The Fontys School of Management Economics and Law, which is the school that you will study at, has a very high reputation.
The studies are organized very efficiently and practice-oriented, and allow students to gain a lot of knowledge within a short time.
Fontys and CBS will support you find an internship and also help you define the topics for your theses.
Eindhoven has a population of around 255.000 and is located 150km west of Cologne in the Dutch province of North Brabant. The region is called „Brainport Eindhoven“, a name giving credit to the several excellent universities and many innovative enterprises located in the region.
Eindhoven is a true student city. Apart from Fontys, other universities welcome students from all over the world. This gives potential for an inspiring study abroad year.

The Bachelor Double Degree is exclusively open to students on International Business with Management Consulting. You will have to decide for the programme latest during your third semester of studies. Before taking a decision, we recommend that you see us for a study advisory.
