Which documents do I have to submit with my enrollment?

For a complete application we need from you:

Curriculum vitae in tabular form
(certified) copy of the last school report, school-leaving certificate, vocational training certificate
Proof of English for English-language courses of study
Copy of passport

for your master studies we need:

Letter of motivation
Academic report

in case of already existing study achievements:

Exmatriculation certificate

When are the application deadlines?

We accept applications all year round. However, due to the limited study places at CBS, an early application is recommended.

The application deadline for International students is May 15th for the winter intake and October 15th 2022 for the summer intake

Please meet the following application deadlines if you need a visa:

English-language programmes: May 15th
German-language programmes: May 15th

Can I apply now for next year / the year after?

Yes, an application is possible at any time.

Can I apply without a school leaving certificate?

If you have not yet received your diploma, you can apply provisionally with a copy of your last school report. Until enrollment, we will then require proof of your diploma.

Is there an assessment day at CBS?

Yes. The assessment days take place on a regular basis and are currently carried out by video or telephone due to the special circumstances. You will receive further information about the technical procedure from us during the further application process. In a video or telephone interview your study ability and motivation will be tested. In addition, you will receive a link to a virtual English test if you would like to study in English.

How does the application process work?

After you have applied online, your application will be reviewed by the colleagues from the Admissions Office. After a short period of time, you will receive feedback on whether you can be admitted to study at CBS with your submitted application documents. Further information on whether you will participate in an assessment day or interview will be provided by the Admissions Office.
