Student Life
In between August and December 2020, three CBS student groups collaborated with strategy and technology consultancy for data-driven marketing MINT Square in a joint business project: BA and MA International Business students of the Business Project class, MA Digital Marketing students of the Omni-Channel Commerce class, and moreover a mixed students group of the MA Elective Omni-Channel Commerce. MINT Square had created four challenging projects for the students: the development of a new tangible product for MINT Square; the creation of digital marketing packages for local businesses based on the MINT Square portfolio; the development of a pitching approach regarding MINT Square’s offers for approaching decision-makers in companies, and moreover the review and optimization of MINT Square’s marketing approach. For each project task, MINT Square had assigned a team member supporting the students. The student teams came up with creative and convincing solutions to these tasks. Christoph Berg, Managing Partner of MINT Square:
“We are looking for new employees for positions starting in 2021. We have already received applications from interesting candidates for our joint business project.“
Yash R. Hindocha, who studies the Master program in International Business, Marketing Management specialization, highlights:
“It was a pleasure to study this course as it not only strengthened my marketing skills but also helped me gain hands-on experience while working with MINT Square. This course exposed me to a range of topics such as Programmatic Ads and Omni-Channel Management.I had the pleasure of leading a team and working on the current marketing scheme that MINT Square has and also coming up with effective, out-of-box marketing ideas for MINT Square. MINT Square led us through the whole process, and they were there for us when we needed them, hearing all our thoughts and making sure they gave us feedback. It's been a great experience.“
Sam Webber, CBS Alumna of the CBS Digital Marketing Master program, now working as Programmatic Consultant for MINT Square, organized the project in cooperation with Prof. Dr. Julia Maintz, Professor of Internet Economics and International Management at CBS, who stresses:
“It’s extremely productive when CBS alumni develop to important partners in our company network. The collaboration with MINT Square will continue in the context of future business projects.“
