Student Life
CBS International Business School is following the recommendation of the State Chancellery of North Rhine-Westphalia and has discontinued face-to-face-teaching on its campuses as of 16 March 2020. All courses will be successively converted to digital formats, for example in the "virtual classroom" and as video recordings. These can be accessed by students at any time. The close student support provided by the service facilities will continue with a focus on "remote working".
"The health of our students and employees is our highest priority. By switching to digital teaching formats, we now want to do our part to minimise the potential risk of infection on our campuses. We will provide our teaching content virtually in the usual quality", says Prof. Dr. habil. Elisabeth Fröhlich, President of the CBS International Business School.
The decision to avoid possible chains of infection through digital formats in advance also affects the university's study information and career events. "At our Open Campus Days and Open Campus Nights, we would like to give our prospective students an authentic impression of CBS studies and our campuses. In the coming three weeks, we will only be offering our study consultations by telephone or video call and are already looking forward to welcoming prospective students personally on campus again soon," says Prof. Dr. Christoph Willers, Managing Director of the CBS International Business School.
The career events in cooperation with corporate partners, including the Career Days in Cologne and Mainz, will be made up for as soon as possible and announced on our events page.
