CBS International Business School stands in solidarity with Ukraine against Russia's belligerent attack. As a university with an international orientation, CBS stands for worldwide scientific exchange and international cooperation. We look with concern at the developments in Eastern Europe and join the call for solidarity of the German Hochschulrektorenkonferenz and the German Academic Exchange Service.
War, propaganda, and anti-democratic developments have no place in our education system. Our credo Creating tomorrow refers to the holistic education of tomorrow's generation - for peaceful, democratic coexistence across all borders. Russia's attack on Ukraine in violation of international law clearly shows us how fragile our fundamental values are and that we must actively stand together for a peaceful future.
All students who have questions or concerns about the conflict can contact the International Office (firstname.lastname@example.org / +49 (0) 221 931809-39). Ideas for fundraising or events on the Ukraine conflict can be presented to the university (email@example.com) or to the lecturers at any time. We got in touch with our international CBS students from Ukraine and Russia and offered help if needed. We want you to know that you are an important part of the CBS family and we will stand by you in this challenging situation by providing advice and concrete help!
To all Ukrainian students and university employees who need support, we are also here for you! At the same time, we speak out clearly against hostility towards Russian citizens. Let us take the CBS slogan Creating tomorrow once again as an opportunity to work together for a peaceful future.
