In a business simulation game participants have to manage their own virtual company which operates in the same market as other participant-operated competitors. This involves making typical management decisions in realistic environments. Beside the deepening and active examination of subject-specific knowledge the simulation games also include the team environment, where interaction, communication and prioritization are of paramount importance. Participants learn how to manage risk and uncertainty while time is limited and information constrained. Group-reflections help to take over different perspectives and to discuss pros and cons of content- as well as behavior-related actions.

During the Master Thesis Tutorial you will learn the fundamentals for your Master thesis: Defining the topic as well as structuring the thesis and you will learn the theoretical knowledge for scientific working.

During your 5th semester you are working on your Master thesis, the subject is freely selectable. A supervisor from CBS will support you and you can write the thesis in collaboration with a company as well. Or you can write your thesis in connection with a stay abroad.

Human Resources Management – Studienverlauf & Praxismodule

Dieser berufsbegleitende Master im HR-Management bietet Dir bereits ab dem ersten Semester Einblick in Personalführung in einer globalisierten Welt. Zusätzlich zur allgemeinen betriebswissenschaftlichen Wissensvermittlung wirst Du insbesondere  ins Strategische Management sowie unter Anderem in die Themen Diversity und Business Ethics einsteigen. und überfachlichen Kompetenzen.

 

Im dritten Semester wird ein Fokus auf das strategische Personalmanagement, die Unternehmensentwicklung sowie die Unternehmenstransformation gelegt.

 

Berufsnahes Praxiswissen


Damit Du Dein Wissen nach dem Abschluss optimal anwenden kannst, ist der Praxisbezug während des Studiums an der CBS ein besonderer Pluspunkt, und das nicht nur in den Lehrinhalten und durch die Dozentinnen und Dozenten aus der freien Wirtschaft.

 

Im Rahmen des integrierten Praxismoduls „Business Project“ berätst Du einen realen Kunden, indem Du die Fragestellung eines Kooperationspartners der CBS im Team bearbeitest und Handlungsempfehlungen ableitest. Deine unternehmerischen Fähigkeiten kannst Du anschließend im Business Simulation Game gemeinsam mit Kommilitonen und Kommilitoninnen unter Beweis stellen. Bei diesem virtuellen Planspiel triffst Du komplexe Geschäfts-Entscheidungen von denen Gewinn oder Verlust „Deines Unternehmens“ abhängen.

 

Investoren, Partner und Geschäftsführer zu überzeugen eignest Du Dir im Innovation Lab- Business Plan Writing and Pitching und optimierst Dein Praxisanwendung im Capstone Simulation Game. Im Rahmen dieses digitalen Planspiels triffst Du mit Deinem Team die Geschäftsentscheidungen und wendest Deine Business Skills praktisch an.

 

Im letzten Semester konzentrierst Du Dich dann auf die Ausarbeitung Deiner Masterthesis, die Du selbstverständlich thematisch an ein aktuelles Projekt Deines Arbeitgebers anlehnen kannst.

Das berufsbegleitende Masterstudium „HRM & Leadership“ bietet eine weiterführende betriebswirtschaftliche Ausbildung mit dem Fokus auf Human Resources Management.
