Wirtschaft ist global – fast jedes Unternehmen arbeitet international, sei es aufgrund multikultureller Mitarbeiter/-innen, der Expansion ins Ausland oder Projekten weltweit. Dies führt dazu, dass in vielen Großkonzernen und mittelständischen Firmen die Unternehmenssprache Englisch ist oder zumindest ein hohes Niveau der Fremdsprache vorausgesetzt wird. An der CBS International Business School Management zu studieren bedeutet daher auch, dass die Vorlesungen in englischer Sprache abgehalten werden.  Neben den sprachlichen Fähigkeiten erfordert eine internationale Karriere bestimmte Kenntnisse und Soft Skills. The overall objective of this course is to provide students with possibility of applying their business knowledge on concrete business situation (real or scenario-based), related to the field of their specialization. By the end of the module students should be able to:

  • Define project goals for the “client”.

  • Work under the set timeframe and agreed project scope.

  • Cooperate in the international project teams.

  • Plan and conduct secondary and primary research to gather necessary information: understand which information is needed and where to look for it.

You will spend the fifth semester at one of our numerous partner universities abroad. Our International Office supports you in the selection & application process and coordinates the courses to be taken abroad with you in advance.

Bachelor Thesis12 ECTS ? !

During your 6th semester you are working on your Bachelor thesis. You have 12 weeks to complete your thesis and the subject is freely selectible. A supervisor from CBS will support you and you can write the thesis in collaboration with a company as well.

Bachelor Thesis Tutorial1 ECTS ? !

During the Bachelor Thesis Tutorial you will learn the fundamentals for your Bachelor thesis: Defining the topic as well as structuring the thesis and you will learn the theoretical knowledge for scientific working.

Business Simulation Game4 ECTS ? !

In a business simulation game participants have to manage their own virtual company which operates in the same market as other participant-operated competitors. This involves making typical management decisions in realistic environments. Beside the deepening and active examination of subject-specific knowledge the simulation games also include the team environment, where interaction, communication and prioritization are of paramount importance. Participants learn how to manage risk and uncertainty while time is limited and information constrained. Group-reflections help to take over different perspectives and to discuss pros and cons of content- as well as behaviour-related actions.

International Business Management studieren anhand von realen Projekten

Ein International Business Studium an der CBS International Business School vermittelt Dir alle relevanten BWL-Kenntnisse und hält Dich stets mit topaktuellen Wirtschaftsthemen auf dem neusten Stand. Doch an der CBS zählen nicht nur theoretischen Konzepte, sondern auch konkrete Praxiserfahrungen. Daher bearbeitest Du reale Case Studies aus dem internationalen Business Management, die in Kooperation mit Partnerunternehmen entstanden sind. Gemeinsam mit anderen Studierenden präsentierst Du das Ergebnis der Aufgabenstellung häufig sogar vor Unternehmensvertretern. BWL-Studium im Auslandssemester: internationale Erfahrungen sammeln

Damit Du neben Studieninhalten und Praxisbeispielen Auslandserfahrungen sammeln können, beinhaltet der Bachelor of Arts in International Business ein Auslandssemester. Dies ist verpflichtend für alle Studierenden des internationalen BWL-Studiengangs. Du profitierst von einer großen Auswahl an Zielorten, da die CBS über 120 Partnerhochschulen weltweit verfügt. Ob es für Dich nach Australien, Spanien oder in ein anderes Land gehen soll, kannst Du gemeinsam mit den Experten/-innen des International Office besprechen und planen. Freu Dich darauf, Deine interkulturellen Kompetenzen zu stärken und Deine Sprachkenntnisse zu verbessern.

Bachelor in BWL mit internationalem Sprachfokus

Der Bachelorstudiengang International Business fokussiert sich selbstredend auf Internationalität. Dies bedeutet neben Englisch als Vorlesungssprache auch das Erlernen mindestens einer weiteren Fremdsprache während Deines International-Business-Studiums. Das hat zur Folge, dass Du nicht nur Grundkenntnisse der Sprachen erwirbst, sondern ganz konkrete Fachbegriffe erlernst, die Du in einem internationalen Wirtschaftsberuf benötigen wirst.
