Business Simulation Game3 ECTS ? !

In a business simulation game participants have to manage their own virtual company which operates in the same market as other participant-operated competitors. This involves making typical management decisions in realistic environments. Beside the deepening and active examination of subject-specific knowledge the simulation games also include the team environment, where interaction, communication and prioritization are of paramount importance. Participants learn how to manage risk and uncertainty while time is limited and information constrained. Group-reflections help to take over different perspectives and to discuss pros and cons of content- as well as behavior-related actions.

During the Master Thesis Tutorial you will learn the fundamentals for your Master thesis: Defining the topic as well as structuring the thesis and you will learn the theoretical knowledge for scientific working.

Master Thesis18 ECTS ? !

During your 4th semester you are working on your Master thesis. You have 19 weeks to complete your thesis and the subject is freely selectable. A supervisor from CBS will support you and you can write the thesis in collaboration with a company as well. Or you can write your thesis in connection with a stay abroad.

Internship or Study Abroad10 ECTS ? !

You can choose between an internship (lasting at least eight weeks) or a semester abroad at one of our partner universities.

Relevante Inhalte ab dem ersten Semester

Besonders in global operierenden Unternehmen ist durch die Vielzahl an Wettbewerbern die nachhaltige Gewinnung von Kunden von viel größerer Bedeutung als bei kleineren Unternehmen. Deshalb ist Customer Relationship Management bereits ein Lehrinhalt des ersten Semesters.

Im zweiten Semester zählen zu den Schwerpunkten der Aufbau und die Organisation von Unternehmen.

Wie nachhaltiges Wirtschaften zum Erfolgsfaktor wird, lernst Du in den Fächern Corporate Social Responsibility und Sustainable Supply Chain Management.

Investoren, Partner und Geschäftsführer zu überzeugen eignest Du Dir im Innovation Lab - Business Plan Writing & Pitching im dritten Semester an und optimierst Deine Praxisanwendung im Capstone Simulation Game. Im Rahmen dieses digitalen Planspiels triffst Du mit Deinem Team die Geschäftsentscheidungen und wendest Deine Business Skills praktisch an.

Das vierte Semester: Raum für Eigeninitiative

Im vierten Semester arbeitest Du an Deiner Master Thesis. Du kannst wählen, ob Du die Master Thesis in Zusammenarbeit mit einem Unternehmen im Praktikum oder in einem Auslandssemester an einer unserer Partnerhochschulen schreibst.

Am Puls der Wirtschaft

Das Ziel des Studiums ist die bestmögliche Vorbereitung auf den Berufseinstieg und die weitere Karriere. Daher sind die praxisnahe Vermittlung von Fachwissen im Business Project, einem Capstone Simulation Game und ein optionales Praxissemester im In- oder Ausland Teil des Studiums.

Im Master International Business rückt die CBS den Studierenden in den Mittelpunkt. So lernst Du in Praxisprojekten und experimentellen Lernformaten, wie den Simulation Games, Dein eigenes Gespür für Management-Entscheidungen auszubilden.

Du erfährst also bereits im Studium, worauf es in der Praxis ankommt und überzeugst zukünftige Arbeitgeber durch Deine Erfahrung. Durch verschiedene Networking- und Recruiting Events lernst Du während des Studiums immer wieder namhafte Unternehmen kennen. Mit dieser Unterstützung kannst Du Dich ganz auf Dein persönliches Karriereziel fokussieren. Dein Masterabschluss in International Business verhilft Dir so zum mühelosen Ein- und Aufstieg in der Wirtschaft.
