Do you want to study in Germany but don’t meet the formal requirements for direct admission to a university? The Studienkolleg Prep4University offers you a structured and intensive preparatory course for the "Feststellungsprüfung" – your key to studying in Germany.
Whether you are interested in business and social sciences (W-Course) or technical, mathematical, and natural sciences (T-Course), our programme provides you with the foundation you need.

Choose Your Study Language
Our Studienkolleg is available in both German and English. If you are preparing for an English-taught degree after the Studienkolleg Prep4University, enroll in our English Track. If you already have strong German language skills and plan to study in German, choose the German Track.
Outstanding Performance is Rewarded
The Studienkolleg Prep4University is your key to university admission in Germany. Upon successful completion of the programme, you can begin your chosen undergraduate degree. Graduates of the W-Course at Prep4University are guaranteed a study place at CBS for a full-time Bachelor’s programme of their choice!
CBS University of Applied Sciences provides scholarships to students who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance or social commitment during their school years or during the Studienkolleg Prep4University. Our goal is to enable access to CBS for those who may not be able to afford privateuniversity tuition on their own. Eligible applicants who successfully complete the application process may receive a scholarship covering up to 25% oftheir tuition fees.
After completing the Studienkolleg Prep4University, you may also be eligible to apply to other German universities. Please check with the respective institutions for their admission criteria.

At the Studienkolleg, the following subjects are taught depending on the course:
In the W-Course, the subjects include Mathematics for Business Studies, Economics, German as a Foreign Language, and English.
The T-Course includes the subjects Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, German as a Foreign Language, and English.

Prep4University is a great academic and cultural starting point. It is a good way to get integrated in Germany, because you have a larger support system to help with the language and bureaucratic differences. On the academic side, it's a great way to understand the teaching and learning styles to prepare yourself for your bachelor's programme.
Being in a new country can can be difficult but I really appreciate how friendly and cooperative the Prep4Uni team is. They always go the extra mile for their students, making sure we have everything we need throughout the programme. The teachers are great, the classes are highly engaging and fun.
